Slaveck Moraru is a pastor, educator, and theological teacher based in the Seattle area. He currently teaches theology at King’s High School in Shoreline, Washington, and serves in teaching and preaching roles at churches, conferences, and colleges.
He is a PhD student in Preaching at Anderson University and holds an MA in Theology from Biola University and a BA in Ministry Leadership from Northwest University.
He was ordained in 2015 through City Hill Northshore Church , and has served in pastoral ministry there for over a decade. His experience includes roles as youth pastor, young adult pastor, teaching pastor, and church planter. He most recently served as a preaching pastor.
In addition to his pastoral and teaching work, he is involved in Christian education and media communication. He hosts and produces the podcast In Light of Eternity, where he engages topics related to Christian theology, culture, and apologetics. His focus is to help people live with an eternal perspective.
His teaching experience includes courses such as Christology, Apologetics, Christian Philosophy, Core Christian Beliefs, and Faith and Culture. His sermon ministry spans a sustained period of preaching in local church and conference contexts, with selected messages available through his podcast platform.
Across his ministry and academic activities, Moraru is engaged in pastoral leadership, theological instruction, and public Christian communication within the evangelical tradition. He is affiliated with the Assemblies of God denomination and is fluent in English and Romanian, with conversational proficiency in Russian.
